Glenn Lewis Allen

Glenn Lewis Allen, 79, of Conesville, passed away at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville on Friday September 22, 2023, after an extended illness.

Glenn was born in Coshocton on December 8, 1943, to the late Lewis and Eunice (Hawthorne) Allen.  He graduated from Warsaw High School and was a Custodian for Coshocton City Schools at Central Elementary.  Glenn enjoyed watching Ohio State Football, was involved with the Rube Band and loved volunteering and participating with Coshocton County React.

Glenn is survived by his children, Randy Allen of Coshocton, Tammy (Marvin) Echard of Wakatomika, Leanne (George) Allen of Reynoldsburg and Patricia (Tim) Mercer of Conesville; seven grandchildren; five great grandchildren; one sister Carol June Bassett of Sugarland, TX.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Kathy L. Allen whom he married July 14, 1963, and one sister Mary Lou Dovenbarger.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday September 26, 2023, from to 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Bill Jones officiating.  Interment will follow in Prairie Chapel Cemetery.
