Harold "Steve" Stephen Mainwaring

Harold “Steve” Stephen Mainwaring, 74, of Coshocton passed away Sunday, January 8, 2023 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.  He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on March 25, 1948 to the late Clarence and Eileen (Turner) Mainwaring.

Steve was a graduate of River View High School, he served in the United States Navy for 4 years, and he worked at GE, Western and Southern Life, Kimberly Insurance, and was the owner/operator of Steve’s Tax Accounting. He was a lifetime member of the VFW and a member of the Coshocton Eagles Lodge.  He enjoyed golfing in his spare time.

Steve is survived by his children Cheri (Blake) Bowman, Christi Selders, and Della Newman; grandchildren Devyn (Jessica Steible) Albertson, Kayla Selders, Jade (Raiden) Albert, Natasha (Michael) Brown, Tylar McElroy, and Miranda Bowman; siblings Lynn (Pat) Mainwaring and Viva (Dick) Addy; four great grandchildren; nieces and nephews Brian (Laura Harshaw) Mainwaring, Ben (Monica) Addy, Corie (Chad) Lahna, and April (Dan Shrimplin) Addy; and several great nieces and great nephews.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 4:00pm – 6:00pm with funeral services beginning at 6:00pm with Pastor Bob Wright officiating. The Coshocton County Veteran Council will be performing military honors at 6:00pm at the funeral home. Burial of his cremated remains will take place at a later date at South Lawn Cemetery.
