H. Michael "Mike" Wills

H. Michael “Mike” Wills, 66, of Coshocton passed away peacefully at his home on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 after a 7 year battle with Multiple Myeloma.  He was born in Coshocton on August 7, 1951 to the late Cameron D. and Hazel “Mickey” (Aronhalt) Wills.

Mike was a 1970 graduate from River View High School.  He worked for the Ohio Agriculture Research and Development Center, was a heavy equipment operator at Simco Peabody, and retired from AK Steel.  He was an avid hunter and sportsman who loved to long range target shoot.  He enjoyed listening to blue grass music, restoring vintage motorcycles, and spending time in Amish Country.

Mike is survived by his wife, Barb (Babcock) Wills, whom he married September 21, 2005; sons Chad (Diana) Wills of Westerville, Scott (Emily) Wills of Coshocton, Kris Kidwell of Howard, and Korey (Kelly) Kidwell of Walhonding; grandchildren Miley Wills, Jackson and Kyla Kidwell, and Ellie and Josie Kidwell; sisters Barbara (John) Knight of Howard and Sheryl Atkinson of Fresno; brothers Steve Wills of Fresno and Mark (Darlene) Wills of Fresno; mother-in-law Wilma Babcock of Frazeysburg; brother-in-law Ron (Pat) Babcock of Newark; sister-in-laws Bev Biggs of Newark and Debbie Babcock of Coshocton; several cousins, nieces, and nephews; and his two Schnauzer companions, Penny and Pepper.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his father-in-law Jack Babcock.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, January 5, 2018 from 5:00pm - 8:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00am with Pastor Harold Sprague officiating.  Interment will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
