Biography

Mary Imogene "Jean" Olinger, 85, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital on Wednesday April 20, 2011. Jean was born in Coshocton to the late Howard and Ella (Shepler) Arnold on February 23, 1926. She graduated from Coshocton High School in 1944 and attended the First Baptist Church of Coshocton. On September 20, 1944 she married Wayne E. Olinger who survives. Jean is also survived by her daughter Sharon Shryock of Coshocton; grandchildren Michelle (Chris) Crown of Hurricane, WV; great grandchildren Abby and Ally; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her brother Paul Arnold and two infant brothers. Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday April 22, 2011 from 6-8 PM and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Funeral services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11 AM with Pastor Murray McMillan and Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Baptist Church of Coshocton and/or the Oncology Department/Coshocton County Memorial Hospital, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
