Jackie G. Darner, 78, of Adams Mills, passed away at Morrison House Hospice on Tuesday April 3, 2012. Jackie was born to the late William R. and Helen G. (Zimmer) Darner on September 14, 1933 in Muskingum County. He loved driving, working on and talking about anything about trucking, even though his father was killed in a trucking accident when Jackie was 18 months old. Jackie is survived by his wife Nancy D. Darner, who he married on April 21, 1984; children Teri (Bill) Moore of Newark, Tod (Molly) Darner of Conesville, Tim (Teresa) Darner of West Lafayette, Traci (Gary) Lynn of Zanesville and Trudi Kincer of Dresden; step children Chad (Colleen) Trego of Batavia and Jennifer Trego of Powell; grandchildren Brent and Karsen Kincer, Elissa (Ben) Holesapple, Mike Leach, Brandon and Jared Lynn, Rusty and James Darner; step grandchildren Ashley, Amy, Amber, Heather, Branden, Bryson and Isabella; fourteen step great grandchildren. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his step father whom raised him Annis "Bus" Henderson; grandson Elija Darner; step great granddaughter Reese and step brother Annis "Bub" Henderson. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Monday April 9, 2012 from 12-1 PM where memorial services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor James Ross officiating. Memorial contributions may be directed to Christ Table and/or Morrison House Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
