James D. "Jim" Adelman, 81, of Dresden passed away at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville on Friday November 9, 2012.

Jim was born to the late Fred and Edna Adelman in Washington, DC on September 20, 1931. He served in the US Navy during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam.

Jim is survived by his wife Saundra Adelman whom he married on March 25, 1989; two step daughters Pam Orians and Dawn Orians both of Zanesville; one step granddaughter Maudest Orians.

Per Jim's wishes, no public calling hours or services will be held and a cremation will take place.
