James Edward Criddle

James Edward Criddle, 78, of Killbuck passed away Tuesday, February 25, 2020 at Altercare Majora Lane in Millersburg.  He was born in Hines, WV to the late Cecil and Mary Jane (Eddy) Criddle.

James worked for Cline Brother Tree Service as a groundsman. He loved spending time with his family, listening and singing gospel music, and loved old cars.

He is survived by his two daughters, Karen Tish of Holmesville and Susan (James) Blagg of Killbuck; grandchildren McKayla and Isaiah Blagg, and Syrus Tish; great grandchildren Waylon Blagg and Raeleeah Strouse; siblings Loretta (Alfred) Reed of Killbuck, Lorena Angle of Hines, WV, Margie Butler of Killbuck, Eugene (Nancy) Criddle of Elton, MD, and Ernest (Diane) Criddle of Killbuck; and mother-in-law Bessie Purdy.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his sister Elizabeth Kiner; brothers Charles “Pee-Wee” Criddle and Paul Criddle; and brothers-in-law Joe Angle and Joe Butler;

Per James’ wishes a cremation will take place and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
