James Raymond Ryan

James Raymond Ryan of Lancaster, Ohio and Bonita Springs, Florida passed away July 5, 2024.

He was a 1959 graduate of Newcomerstown High School. Retired from his career with GE. He loved his family and enjoyed golf, bowling, shuffleboard, playing cards and watching sports.

He is survived by his wife Brenda Gall Ryan of 27 years. His son David (Phyllis) Ryan of Louisiana. Grandchildren Brandon (Katie) Ryan, Brandon, James, Reed, Colston and Callie. Sal (Tara) Uli and Sabrina, Patrick Uli, Christina Uli (TJ) and Shelby. His Step-sons Scott (Julie) Bell of Ohio. Grandsons Joshua and Joseph. And Todd (Susan) Bell of Florida. Grandchildren Anna, Emma (Ashley) and Samantha (Andrew).  His brother Mike (Martha) Ryan of Ohio and numerous nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his first wife Diana of 32 years. Mother Bonnie Foose of Somerset and Grandparents George and May Foose.

Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Jim’s Life will be held August 3, 2024 at Rushcreek Presbyterian Church 7741 Main Street Rushville, Ohio at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for contributions be made to Rushcreek Presbyterian Church.
