James A. Stevens, 43, of Coshocton passed away in Denver, Colorado on Monday November 3, 2014.
James was born on August 15, 1971 in Newark, Ohio to Charles T. and Merlyn (Fero) Stevens.
He graduated from Coshocton High School and was a truck driver for Richard Wolfe Trucking in Mt. Vernon. James loved long haul trucking, especially with his canine truck companion “Zeus.” James also enjoyed hunting, fishing and going on vacations.
He is survived by his two children Natasha A. (fiancé Bryan Seward) Stevens of Columbus and Nicholas A. Stevens of Coshocton; parents Charles and Merlyn J. Stevens of Malta; fiancé Deanna McCloy of Coshocton; step son Joshua D. Kreider of Coshocton; two sisters Pam J. (Jerry Zollars) Stevens of Mt. Vernon and Sara K. Stevens of Malta; nieces and nephew Kimberly, Cynthia and Randall Clouse and Isabella Stevens; three great nieces Zenia, CJ and Georgia.
James is preceded in death by his special father in law Bobby McCloy.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday November 9, 2014 from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM. A cremation will take place after calling hours and a graveside memorial service will be held at a later date.
