James "Jimmy" A Hughes

James “Jimmy” Hughes, 54, of Coshocton passed away Thursday, December 1, 2022 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville.  He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on February 21, 1968 to the late John Hughes and Nancy Young.

Jimmy enjoyed watching football, especially Michigan University and the LA Chargers. He also enjoyed watching the Yankees.

Jimmy is survived by his sons Cody (Nicholas) Hughes of Cleveland and Justin (Chasity) Hughes of Newcomerstown; grandchildren Mika and Leah Hughes; sisters Jayne Jones and Julie (Greg) Carr; brother John Hughes; stepdaughter Bambi Owens; and several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank his care giver, Bobbi Porter, for all of her care and kindness over the past few years.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his longtime companion, Tammy Owens; and brother-in-law Kevin Jones.

Per Jimmy’s wishes his body is being donated to the Ohio State University Organ Donation Program.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
