Janet Faye (Mason) Gosser

Janet Faye Gosser, 85, of Coshocton passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2024 at Altercare of Coshocton. She was born in Dover, OH on April 27, 1939 to the late Ellwood John and Dorothy (Lanzer) Mason.

Janet graduated from Coshocton High School in 1957 and worked in sales and as a manager at Wal-Mart for 17 years before retiring.  She was a member of St. Johns United Church of Christ and attended Central Christian Church. She enjoyed reading, dancing, socializing with her friends, but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janet is survived by her children, Teresa (Larry) Bradford, Marty (Robin) Gosser, and Jana (Mitch) Bradford all of Coshocton; grandchildren Larry Bradford Jr., Jodie Seitz, Brandon (Sarah) Gosser, Kelsey Gosser, Seth Dotson, Daniel Dotson, and Taylor Bradford; great grandchildren Blake, Brody, Kaitlyn, and Kamryn Seitz, Jameson Renner, and Brantley Gosser; and sister Judy Pingle.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by the father of her children, Martin E. Gosser Jr.; and siblings Ruth Ann Richissin, Carol Hackenbracht, and James E. Mason.

The family would like to thank the nurses, aides, and staff at Altercare of Coshocton for their kindness and care during Janets stay with them.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St. Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Monday, June 3, 2024 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm. Funeral services for Janet will be on Tuesday at 11:00am with Pastor Stewart Royce and Philip Hunt officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be directed towards Central Christian Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
