Life Legacy
Jerry Dwayne Pahoundis, 39, of Coshocton, passed away on Thursday, March 24, 2011 around 6 am from a mobile home fire at 44733 County Rd. 58, Jackson Twp. Coshocton. Jerry was born in Coshocton on August 7, 1971. He had attended Ridgewood & later studied Sign Language at Grace United Methodist Church. Jerry was a mechanic & helped his parents raise thoroughbred horses for many years. In 2006, he started Jerry's Speedy Clean-up Service & wrote poetry in his spare time. He began working at Annin Flag Co. on March 14th. The family dog Gimper also died in the fire.
Jerry is survived by his 3 yr old daughter Betty Lou, his step-daughter Carolyn Garrison whom he helped raise from 6 months and his wife Cari Renee. They were married June 27, 2010 at Grace UMC by Rev. Craig Redecker. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, John Daniel Pahoundis Sr & Betty Lou Lane Pahoundis of Rt 3, Fresno, OH; sister, Elizabeth Joanne Meckley & great-nephew Daniel Ray Pahoundis. Surviving are 5 brothers: John Jr., Julius, Jeffrey, James, Joseph all of Coshocton County; 4 sisters Deborah Lou (Leonard) Beamer of Coshocton, Cynthia (Fred) Rodgers of Dresden, Mary Louise (Doug) Parks & Theresa (Kelly) Barker of UT, best man Owen Shawn Lane; in-laws Richard & Kathy Cook; Roy & Christy Millen, 6 nieces,10 nephews, 6 great-nieces, 6 great-nephews, 11 aunts, 9 uncles including Bobby Joe & Raymond Lane of Coshocton County, 48 cousins including neighbor Carl Parrillo and friends including mothers of nieces/nephews Amanda Starner & Jacinda Glazer & Edith Sharke.
A gathering of friends will be held at the Shepherd's Christian Assembly, 311 Main St., Coshocton on Monday April 4, 2011 from 3-4 PM where a memorial service will start at 4:00 PM with Pastor Starkey Lawrence officiating.
