JR Walters "Fuzzy", age 75, of Coshocton passed away on April 10, 2025. He was born on February 8, 1950 in Coshocton to the late Wilson Watson and Bessie (Bradford) Walters. He was a United States Army Veteran, having served two tours in Vietnam and a stint in Germany. He spent his working years as a truck driver and in his later years he hauled Amish and truly enjoyed it. He was meticulous about his yard and always kept it mowed. He loved gambling and enjoyed the time he spent at the Eagles. Most of all, he loved his tight knit family and spending time with them.
Jerry is survived by his children, Jeff (Michelle) Lanham, Heather (Trent) Parkhill and Jeanie (Kevin) Spears; grandchildren, Jennifer (Henry), Haleigh (Joe), Brodie (Kimberlin), Chelsey, Dakota, Shyanna, Caleb, Tyler and Mackenzie; great-grandchildren, Leighona, Zoey, Briar, Carter, Adalynn, Tyce, Ava, Belle, Luka; as well as his sister, Posie.
Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Byron Walters, Larry Walters and Billy Walters and special nephews, Greg Wolford and Doug Walters.
Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 from 5 to 7pm and an hour before the service. The funeral service will be on Wednesday, April 16, 2025 at 11am with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow at Canal Lewisville Cemetery with Military Honors being performed by the Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard.
In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Coshocton County Veterans Council at 318 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812.
