Life Legacy
Stanley "JimBuck" Thornsley, 75, of Coshocton passed away at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus on Monday June 18, 2012. JimBuck was born to the late William and Grace (Clark) Thornsley in Coshocton on September 24, 1936. He served in the United States Navy, retired from General Electric and Hilltop Golf Course. JimBuck was an avid Coshocton High School football fan, hunter and golfer. He is survived by his loving wife Wanda K. (Wilcox) Thornsley who he married on November 21, 1964; children Todd (Christie) Thornsley of Coshocton, Sheri (Thomas) Landaker of Wakatomika and Amy (Larry) Moran of Dresden; grandchildren Shane, Logan, Lucas, Racheal and Derrick, Darcie, Zack and Brandy, Madison and Troy; three great grandchildren; sister Marilyn (Bill) Grunder of Cape Coral, FL; several nieces and nephews. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his siblings Doris Parham, Helen Saylor, Anna Grace Hall, Charles, William and John Thornsley. The family will hold a celebration of JimBuck's life at the Coshocton County Sportsmens Club, 21280 Twp Rd. 283, Coshocton on Friday June 22, 2012 from 4-8 PM. In leiu of flowers, his family request memorial contributions be made to the "JimBuck Thornsley Memorial Fund", c/o Ohio Heritage Bank, 200 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812, funds will be used for future scholarships for Coshocton High School Football players.
