Joan D Larr

Joan (Darner) Larr, 86, of Coshocton passed away Monday, January 9, 2023 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville.  She was born in Coshocton, Ohio on September 25, 1936 to the late Thomas W. and Ruth (Sarbaugh) Darner.

Joan was a graduate of Conesville High School and was a member of the Roscoe United Methodist Church.  She had previously worked for Stone Container and retired from the Coshocton County Auditor’s office.

Joan is survived by her two sons Tim and Jeff Larr; grandson Justin (Ellie) Larr; great grandchildren Gaelen, Gage and Jaxon; other family includes: Michelle Darner, Larry (Sally) Boal, Rod (Elaine) Larr, Ruth (Louis) Foster, Randall Larr, and Pauline Kohman; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, Ron Larr, who passed away August 28, 2014; siblings Thomas S. Darner, James E. Darner, Jacquie Erman, and Janice Wells.

A funeral service will be held at Roscoe United Methodist Church on Saturday, January 21, 2023 at 11:00 AM with Pastor Bob Mitchell and Rev. Dale Sutton officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Roscoe United Methodist Church, Morrison House Hospice, and the Coshocton Firefighters Toy Drive; envelopes will be available at the church.
