Judith Ann Parsons, 80, of Coshocton, passed away on Friday, October 29, 2021, at Signature Healthcare of Coshocton. She was born on December 26, 1940, in Johnstown, Ohio to the late Cecil Roy Parsons and Edna Brown (Myers) Parsons.
Judy was a 1958 graduate of Johnstown High School and a 1962 graduate of Capital University. She taught elementary vocal music in the River View Elementary schools for her entire career as a teacher. After retirement, she continued her love of music by giving piano lessons in her home.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Coshocton Branch. She was their organist for many years and served as the President of the Relief Society.
Judy is survived by one brother, Lee (Donna) Parsons of Carrollton, Ohio; a niece, Dianna (Randy) Scott of Locust Grove, Georgia; two nephews, Douglas (Trenna) Parsons and David (Sally) Parsons, both of Carrollton, Ohio; 4 great nieces, 2 great nephews, 1 great-great nephew, and a loyal friend and neighbor, Don West.
Calling hours will be at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-Day Saints on Thursday, November 4, 2021, from 10am to 11am. The funeral service will begin at the church at 11am. Burial will follow at Green Hill Cemetery in Johnstown, Ohio.
