Life Legacy

Julie A. McCoy, 56, of Coshocton passed away on Thursday March 1, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Julie was born in Coshocton on September 2, 1955 to William J. McCoy and the late Mary Ellen (Speckman) McCoy. She graduated from Ridgewood High School in 1974 and was an employee at Buehler's in Coshocton until becoming ill in 2008. Julie enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, baking and entering items at the County Fair for which she won Blue Ribbons and Best of Show. Julie is survived by her father William J. McCoy and loving step mother Carol McCoy of West Lafayette; sister Deborah (Daniel) Bailey of Fresno; nephew Jason Bailey; great nephew Gauge Bailey; special friend Duke Young of Fresno; loving canine companion Daisy; several aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends including her Buehler's family. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday March 4, 2012 from 2-4 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday. Funeral services for Julie will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11:00 AM with Rev. Everett Stoddard officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
