June 30, 1925 — November 12, 2011

R. June King, 86, of Conesville went home to be with her Lord Saturday November 12, 2011 at Good Samaritan Hospital in Zanesville after a long and happy life. June was born to the late Lorraine O. and Anna V Sturgis in Apple Creek, Ohio on June 30, 1925. She was a farm wife all of her life alongside her husband Glenn W. King, whom she married April 14, 1945 in Apple Creek, OH. June was a member of the Conesville United Methodist Church where she was very active in the church hospitality committee, bazaar treasurer, and assisted on the administrative council of the church. Survived by her loving husband of 66 years Glenn; devoted children Glenn Dale (Lois) King of Conesville, Linda D. (Henry) Cerceo of Charleston, SC and Vickie (Tom) Kobel of Coshocton; grandchildren Wesley (Jenn) Kobel of New Albany, Tyler (Michelle) Kobel of Zanesville, Amanda Case of Columbus, Ben (Kelly) King of Apple Creek, Casey King of Columbus, H. Jay (Tabby) Cerceo of Charlotte, NC and Graham Cerceo of Columbia, SC; great grandchildren William Thomas Kobel and Grace Frances King; brother in law M.O. “Snooks” Smith of Fredericksburg, OH; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers Orlo, Milo, Dwight, Loren and Marion Sturgis; one sister Cleota “Coty” Smith. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday November 15, 2011 from 4-7 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday. Funeral services for June will be held on Wednesday at the funeral home at 11:00 AM with Pastor Joy Blaney officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.
