Doris June Phillips, 87, of Coshocton passed away on Monday February 13, 2012 at her daughter's residence in Coshocton. June was born in Linton Twp, Coshocton County on March 7, 1924 to the late Fred M. and Mary E. (Emler) Hootman. On March 7, 1939 she married Clarence R. Phillips who passed away in 1968. June is survived by her daughter Karen Fry of Coshocton; two sisters Sara Garabrandt of West Lafayette and Mary Hootman of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and husband, June is preceded in death by her son James B. Phillips; brothers Jack, Fred and Gerald Hootman; sister Audrey Cornelius. A graveside service will be held in South Lawn Cemetery on Friday February 17, 2012 at 2:00 PM with Pastor Mark Granger officiating.
