Kathryn L. Nelson, 82, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton Regional Medical Center on Monday December 26, 2016. She was born in Coshocton on January 29, 1934 to the late Cleon A. and Lillie B. (Donley) Dobson.
Kate was a homemaker for all of her life, raising four boys. She enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her sons Terry (Jeanna) Nelson, James (Gladys) Nelson, and Mark (Sandra) Nelson all of Coshocton; grandchildren William (Jenny) Nelson, Cora (James) Murray, Jenny (Patrick Fedd) Nelson, Stephanie Fenn, Kyle Nelson, Amber Hudson, Stephanie Harrah, James (Kellie) Nelson, Stoney Nelson, Mark (Chris) Nelson, Mellissa Flores, Dustin (Tammy) Jones, and Katrina Laird; 33 great grandchildren, 3 great great-grandchildren; sisters Betty Carrol and Leah (Ronnie) Fischer; and several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Albert F. Nelson Sr., whom passed away October 31, 2004; son Albert F. Nelson Jr.; great grandson Cory Gottshalk; siblings Oral , Lenora, Winifred, Raymond, Wilbert, Gesmond, Samuel, Vernon, John, Lois, Delmont, and Elwood.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday December 30, 2016 from 11:00AM – 1:00PM with funeral services beginning at 1:00PM with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
