Kenneth Edwin Bercot

November 2, 1925 — October 26, 2014

Kenneth Edwin Bercot, 88, of Coshocton, Ohio went to be with his Lord on Sunday October 26, 2014 at Mt. Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.

Kenneth was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana on November 2, 1925 to the late Ralph and Hattie May (Voltz) Bercot.  He served in the US Army Horse Calvary during WWII, he worked at Edmonts in Coshocton for 33 years and enjoyed farming.  Kenneth attended the Coshocton Church of the Nazarene and loved participating in the Common Grounds group.  He was also a member of Coshocton County Sportsman Club and the Kids America Coffee Walk and Talk.

He is survived by his two daughters Shirley (Jerry) Fitch and Nancy (David) Drake all of Coshocton; son Ed (Jessie) Bercot of West Lafayette; two brothers Robert Bercot of KY and Thomas Bercot of Troy, OH; six grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; devoted canine companions Buddy and Missy.

Along with his parents, Kenneth is preceded in death by his wife Betty Bercot who he married September 20, 1947, she passed away on August 28, 2011; his daughters Doris Stiers and Donna Bercot; two brothers Albert and Paul Bercot; a great grandson Devon Bercot.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, on Thursday October 30, 2014 from 12:00 PM -2:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Boots officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens where Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard will perform military honors.

Memorial contributions may be directed to Coshocton Church of the Nazarene, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
