Kenneth William Perry, 83, of Coshocton passed away Friday, May 5, 2023 at his home. He was born in Coshocton, Ohio on October 20, 1939 to the late Kenneth E. and Caroline (Collins) Perry.
Kenny graduated from Coshocton High School in 1957 and went on to serve in the United States Army. He worked at Coshocton Brake and Supply for 40 years, General Electric and Packett Mobile Homes. He was a life member of the Coshocton Elks Lodge, Coshocton AMVETS, and a 50-year member to the American Legion. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed the outdoors and tending to his yard and garden, and he was very well known as the “dancer with a beer mug on his head”.
Kenny is survived by his long-time companion, Sandra Jenkins; stepchildren David (Christy) Jenkins, Barbara Brening, Lewis (Cindy) Ehman, and John (Kim) Jenkins; sisters Carol (Dick) Moore and Barbara (Bill) Cox; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews; and his beloved pet, Anna Rose.
Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his stepdaughter Carol Eboch; son-in-law Ron Brening; and nephew Mike Moore.
Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, May 11, 2023 from 3:00pm – 4:00pm with funeral services beginning at 4:00pm with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Cemetery, Warsaw where the Coshocton County Veterans Council will be performing military honors.
Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Coshocton Veterans Council or the Coshocton AMVETS; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
