Lois J. Swails

Lois J. Swails, 70, of West Lafayette, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at Autumn Healthcare of Coshocton on Friday September 14, 2012. Lois was born to the late Albert and Ada Winifred (Powell) Ames in Coshocton on April 15, 1942. She graduated from West Lafayette High School and worked at Coshocton County Memorial Hospital as a nurse's aid. She was a member of the Living Faith Church in West Lafayette and the Lois Club in Coshocton County. She is survived by her sons Bob (Karen) Swails of West Lafayette, Bill Swails of Erie, CO and Brent (Charlie) Swails of Hickman, NE; daughters Brenda (John) Hamilton of Coshocton and Beth (Randy) Patrick of Newcomerstown; twelve grandchildren Mitchell, Robin, Justin, Craig, Jason, Jessie, Jessica, Brandon, Katie, Zach, David and Bryan; one sister Martha Henry of Columbus. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by an infant son Barry Russell Swails and a sister Virginia Johnson. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday September 18, 2012 from 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM where funeral services for Lois will begin at 12:00 PM with Pastor Steve Ward officiating. Interment will follow in Bakersville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to The Living Faith Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
