Lola M Spang

Lola M. Spang, 79, of Coshocton, passed away at her home on Monday February 19, 2018.

Lola was born in Coshocton on August 25, 1938 to the late Richard W. and Letha M. (Ford) Johnston.

She graduated from Conesville High School in 1957, was a member of Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, a Longaberger Basket Consultant for many years, retired as a Teacher’s Aide at Conesville Elementary in 1995, loved spending time with her family, doing yard work and gardening.

Lola is survived by her devoted husband Charles H. Spang whom she married on October 25, 1957; children Charles “Victor” (Janine) Spang of Cincinnati, Catherine “Lynn” (Tom) Wilcox of Heath, David E. Spang of Coshocton and Michael O. (Kathy) Spang of Scottsdale, AZ; grandchildren Tegan Springer, Whitney (Nick) Denman, Stephanie Spang, Tiffany (Kyle) Todd and Taylor (Tyler) Oliver; step grandchildren Lindsay Wilcox, Mack (Heather) Rinehart and Joe (Amanda) Rinehart; several great grandchildren and step great grandchildren; two sisters Marilyn (Paul) Shaffer Gonter and Eleanor Thomas both of Coshocton; brothers in law Harold (Cindy) Spang of Coshocton and Mark (Lynn Ann) Spang of Warsaw; sisters in law Cheryl (Terry) Wilden of Newark and Novella Johnston of Barberton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Delmar Johnston; a great grandchild; father and mother in law Paul and Catherine Spang.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Monday February 26, 2018 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.

Funeral services for Lola will be held on Tuesday at 11:00 AM at the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle, 23891 Airport Rd., Coshocton with Pastor Jason Diaz officiating.

Interment will follow in Tyndall Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed Interim Hospice of Coshocton and/or the Coshocton Christian Tabernacle; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
