Life Legacy
Lorena I. Kain, 89, of Coshocton passed away at Autumn Health Care in Coshocton on Saturday July 14, 2012. Lorena was born to the late Archie and Forrest (Warden) Derr in Birds Run on September 19, 1922. She graduated from Plainfield High School, was a housewife throughout most of her life and was a member of the Zanesville V.F.W. On May 2, 1942 she married Robert E. Kain, who preceded her in death on February 6, 1993. Lorena is survived by her son Jim (Linda) Kain of Philo; daughter Peggy (Tom) Boyd of Fresno; five grandchildren Kristy (Joe) Ossa of Newark, Kathy (Rusty) Tullius of Zanesville, Eddie (Aimee) Kain of Nashport, Danny Boyd of Isletta and Angie (Steve Noser) Boyd of Strongsville; eleven great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; close friend Particia Bunker of Coshocton. Along with her husband and parents, she is preceded in death by her infant son Edward Kain; brother Robert Derr and a great great granddaughter. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday July 17, 2012 from 12-2 PM where funeral services will begin at 2:00 PM with Rev. Paul Gerycz officiating. Interment will follow in Plainfield Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County/Hospice, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
