Louise (Gress) Wiggins

Louise E. Wiggins, 91, of West Lafayette passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation. She was born in Adamsville, OH on December 11, 1932 to the late George and Doris (Richards) Gress.

Louise had previously worked at Edmonts, waitressed at local restaurants and retired from Ridgewood Local School District as a cook at the Elementary and Middle School. She enjoyed gardening and reading.

Louise is survived by her children Doris (Brent) Frank, Dennis Wiggins, and Diane Wiggins all of West Lafayette; brother John Gress; and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, J. “Everett” Wiggins, who she married on April 20, 1956 and passed away in 1996; siblings George Gress Jr., Violet Eberwine, Bertha Green, Martha Williams, and Garnett Cox.

Graveside services will be held at Fairfield Cemetery on Friday, September 20, 2024 at 11:00am with Pastor Dan Eggan officiating. The Miller Funeral Home and Crematory is serving the family.
