Margaret Lynne Smart

Margaret L. Smart, 64, of West Lafayette passed away Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at her home surrounded by family.  She was born in Coshocton on November 11, 1953 to the late Robert and Eileen (Simpson) Hoffman.

She was a graduate of Ridgewood High School and Aultman College of Nursing. She worked for the Coshocton County Memorial Hospital for 38 years as a registered nurse and was very passionate about being a nurse. One of the things she enjoyed most was being involved with the Orange United Methodist Church and tending to her garden.

Margaret is survived by her husband, Raymond Smart, whom she was married to for over 40 years; sons Andrew (Melissa) Smart of Nellie and Aaron (Kelly) Smart of Coshocton; granddaughter Grace Smart; and brother Larry (Ginny) Hoffman of Orange, Ohio.

Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Friday, April 6, 2018 from 5:00pm – 7:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service.  Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00am with Pastor John Armstrong officiating. Burial will follow at Bakersville Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Orange United Methodist Church, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
