One of her greatest joys was helping people in need. She always remained anonymous in her giving, and it brought her happiness to see her handy work.
She always did things for her family to surprise them. She bought a fourth interest in an air plane for her husband and paid for his flying lessons. Jack would always say after that "I need to be careful what I'm wanting, cause she just might buy it for me!" They both enjoyed the time they flew, and went on many trips in their plane.
Marian worked for Walmart in Bartlesville, Oklahoma for 15 years before moving to Coshocton, Ohio.

She collected spoons from all over the U.S. and the World. Jack would bring her the collector spoons from all of the countries he travelled to during his work. Marian had a collection of angels that she loved and cherished. She would always make sure anyone she knew that became ill, had a pocket angel to assist them during their time of need.
Marian enjoyed sports and football was her best sport to watch. She loved the college teams of her Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma State Cowboys, and now the exciting Ohio State Buckeyes.
She was an avid fan of NASCAR Racing and followed her favorite driver, Jeff Gordon until he retired. She then started following Kyle Bush and Dale Earnhardt, Jr. She would be glued to the coverage of the Olympics every 4 years.
