Marilyn R Amstutz

October 9, 1942 — January 16, 2017

Amstutz, Marilyn Ruth (nee Caulier), 74, of Coshocton, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, January 16th, 2017.

She was born October 9th, 1942, in Coshocton, OH to the late Alexander and Virginia Caulier.

She is survived by her loving partner, Max Lucas and her beloved daughters, Wendy (Keith) Ault, Lori Amstutz, and Shana (Jim Shanklin) Garrett, granddaughters Renae (Jason) Ault Siddle, Amanda (Okunzua) Uwague, Elizabeth (Nathan) Black, Tiffany (Jordan Hardman) Ault, Katie Garrett, and grandsons Dan (Amanda) Hains, Wade Garrett and Cody Shanklin, great-grandsons Carson Black and Samuel Ault, brothers Alec Caulier Jr and Michael “Steve” Caulier, sisters Rosalie (Thurman) Gerber and Shirley (John) McKeal, and many adored nieces and nephews.

Marilyn was a member of North Terrace Church of Christ in Zanesville, Ohio.  A devoted dog owner and life-long Cleveland Indians fan, she trained her dogs to cheer for the Tribe when she did.   Her family cherishes memories of Christmases spent in her company, as it was her favorite holiday and her attention to detail in decorations, gift-wrapping, and one of a kind Christmas cookies will be missed.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday January 19, 2017 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Friday.  Funeral services for Marilyn will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1:00 PM with Pastor Harold Sprague officiating.  Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be directed to the Coshocton County Animal Shelter, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
