Marilyn Ann Lauvray

November 28, 1944 — July 20, 2016

Marilyn Ann Lauvray, 71, of Coshocton went to be with her Lord and Savior, Wednesday July 20, 2016 at Licking County Memorial Hospital.  She was born in Coshocton on November 28, 1944 to the late Sylvester “Bus” and Marie (Mowrey) Shuck.

Marilyn was a graduate Sacred Heart Catholic High School and has been a very active lifelong member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where she was a Lector and Eucharistic Minister.  In the past, she had worked at Albertson Lawrence Insurance, Lake Park and for the past 20 years, Marilyn’s Natural Foods.  She also was a member, secretary and representative at the state and national level for Business Professional Women’s Foundation. She enjoyed archery with her late husband, and was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

Marilyn is survived by her son Greg (Michelle) Lauvray of Coshocton; daughters Amy (Carl) Hurlebaus of Sarasota, FL and Tammy (Fred) Piehl of LaJolla, CA; five grandchildren Nicholas Lauvray, Colston Lauvray, Eva Hurlebaus, Lily and Rhys Piehl; brothers Anthony (Janet) Shuck and Rick Shuck; sister Teresa Stiteler; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents Marilyn is preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Lauvray, whom passed away June 26, 2015; brother James F. Shuck and brother-in-law Charles Stiteler.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday July 24, 2016 from 1:00 PM-4:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton on Monday at 10:30 AM with Father Victor Wesolowski officiating.

Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church and/or Sacred Heart School, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
