Marilyn Zimmer

Marilyn Zimmer, 88, of Coshocton passed away Wednesday, November 13, 2024 at Alter Care of Coshocton. She was born in Coshocton, OH on November 16, 1935 to the late Alphonse and Norma (Barrick) DeGendt.

Marilyn had previously worked for Uhaul rentals and was the co-owner of "Leo's Garage" with her late husband. In her spare time she enjoyed bowling.

Marilyn is survived by her children, Dick (Bonnie) Zimmer and Missy (Doug) Ridenbaugh both of Coshocton; grandchildren Chad Zimmer, Jamie (Scott) Schryock, Kristopher (Lauren) Zimmer, Amber (Drew) Deptola, Blake Zimmer, and Ben Zimmer; and seven great grandchildren.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Edgar Leo Zimmer; son Kris Zimmer; and siblings Robert DeGendt and Patricia Albertson.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, OH 43812 on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 12:00pm - 1:00pm with services beginning at 1:00pm with Rev. Bob Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow at South Lawn Cemetery.
