Marjorie E. (Van Sickle) Mccloy

Marjorie E. McCloy, 75, of Coshocton passed away at her home, surrounded by family and friends on Tuesday May 30, 2023. Marjorie was born to the late Robert and Leona (Shipley) Van Sickle in Coshocton, Ohio on April 7, 1948. She graduated from Coshocton High School and was a nurse’s aide for Coshocton Memorial Hospital. Her children, grandchildren, family and friends were very near and dear to her heart. She was a strong woman and gave a lot of herself to others, whether it be as a caregiver or companion. She admired her rescue dogs and was an avid reader.

Marjorie is survived by her loving children Bobby Lee (Mabel) McCloy, Wayne (Leslie) McCloy, Timothy (Crystal) McCloy, Shelley McCloy, Kitty (Robert) Roahrig and Bobbi Lynn (Scott) Marlatt; 16 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; sisters Donna Mardis, Jackie (Harold) Brown and Pauline (Don) Stark; numerous nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Bobby Lee McCloy who passed away in 2013; daughter Deanna McCloy; infant daughter Joyce Ann McCloy; grandson, Brandon Adams and siblings, brother Robert Van Sickle Jr and Connie Shoults.

Per Marjorie’s wishes, a cremation will take place and her cremated remains will be placed with her husband, Bobby. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, July 2 from 12pm to 3pm at the M Event Center located at the Coshocton KOA on 24688 County Road10 in Coshocton. Family and friends are invited to stop by and enjoy a meal and fellowship.
