Marjorie Jean McDonald, 83, of Coshocton, passed away at Lafayette Pointe Nursing Home in West Lafayette on Wednesday December 10, 2014.
Marjorie was born in Licking County on May 17, 1931 to the late Harold and Evelyn (Bechtel) Priest.
She graduated from Conesville High School class of 1949, had worked as a secretary for River View Schools from 1967-1972 and also worked for Coshocton County Memorial Hospital in the clerical department. Marjorie was a member of the Kids America Coffee Walk and Talk, sixty year member of the Blue Ridge Grange and Coshocton Eagles.
Marjorie is survived by her children Cindy (Gene) Mathias and Jan (Jim) Karas and John McDonald Jr., all of Coshocton; three sisters Janet Clark of Columbus, Vada McVay and Dorothy Manning of both of Coshocton; grandchildren Darcy (Greg) Bailey, Andy (Lindsay) Karas, Krissy (Adam) Durant and Matt (Katrina) McDonald; six great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother Bob Priest and sister Marcia Bible.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Friday December 12, 2014 from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the funeral service on Saturday. Funeral services for Marjorie will begin at 11:00 AM with Lloyd Tenney officiating. Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
