Life Legacy
Marjorie Ann Uhlig, 80, of Coshocton, OH formerly of Frewsburg, NY passed away with her loving family by her side on Saturday May 4, 2013 at her home.
She was born in Erie, PA to the late Chester and Grace Foster. Marjorie was active in the Chautauqua County Heart Chapter in Jamestown, taught two's and three's Sunday school for years at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church in Frewsburg, NY, loved spending time with her family and she had a special place in her heart for her grandchildren.
Marjorie is survived by her devoted husband Herman W. Uhlig whom she married on November 22, 1952; caring children Gary (Alice) Uhlig of Sarasota, FL, Patti A. Uhlig Eckberg of Jamestown, NY, Gael (Marc Romano) Uhlig of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Roger (Kelly) Uhlig of Kannapolis, NC and Pastor Rodney (Joann) Uhlig of Coshocton; nine loving grandchildren Danielle and Adam Eckberg, Jordan (Leanne) Anderson, Jacob Uhlig, Shawn (Layla) Burton, Amanda (Steven) Stow, Jody Renfer, Karissa and Kathryn Uhlig; six great grandchildren; one sister Donna Winkler of Erie, PA; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sisters Velma Greenman, Doris Foster, Vera Thompson; two brothers Jake Foster and Richard Foster.
A memorial service will be held at the Christian Missionary Alliance Church, 60 Falconer St., Frewsburg, NY on June 1, 2013 at 3:00 PM with Pastor Rodney Uhlig officiating. Marjorie's family will greet friends from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM at the church.
