Mark W Everhart

April 7, 1956 — July 16, 2021

Mark W. Everhart, 65, of Coshocton passed away peacefully with his devoted wife of 32 years and brother Ronnie by his side on Friday July 16, 2021 at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus.

Mark was born in Coshocton to the late Victor & Betty (Freetage) Everhart on April 7, 1956.  He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, and William E. Unger Army Navy Garrison #628. Mark loved spending time outdoors, golfing, fishing, and having campfires playing his guitar with family and friends. Some of his happiest memories were made on the golf course with his buddies. Mark always had a smile and a kind word for anyone in need.  He always made people laugh; he knew humor was the best medicine.  Mark was the life of the party and strength for his family during hard times. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his loving wife Jana (Unger) Everhart; two sons B.J. Everhart and Joshua (Christy) Everhart both of Coshocton; 5 grandchildren; one brother Ronnie (Sheri) Everhart of West Lafayette; Shelly Everhart of West Lafayette; mother-in-law Joan Unger of Coshocton; brother and sister in laws Joni (Dave) Warren of Catawba Island, OH, Tim (Gail) Unger of Fresno, Jayne (Cliff) Stephens of Brownstown, MI, Pam Eberwine of Coshocton, Annette (Sam) Appis of Coshocton, Tony Unger of Coshocton and Tom (Shellie) Unger of Shelby, OH; Mark’s special canine companion Bogey; as well as 27 nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his brother Todd Everhart and father-in-law William E. Unger.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday 22, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, a Wake service will begin at 7:00 PM with Deacon Doug Mould.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 805 Main St., Coshocton on Friday at 10:30 AM with Father Homer Blubaugh and Deacon Andy Duda officiating.  Interment will follow in Coshocton County Memorial Gardens.  There is a reception immediately following the graveside services at the Cheers Grill and Bar, all are welcome to attend.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be directed to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses for Mark. You may do so on his website, there will also be envelopes at the funeral home.
