Life Legacy

Marla K. Prince, 64 of West Lafayette, Ohio passed away at her residence on Thursday September 6, 2012 after a courageous battle with cancer. Marla was born in Coshocton County to the late Harold "Jack" and Laura (Gadd) McCormick on April 21, 1948. She graduated from Ridgewood High School, was an administrative assistant at Ansel Edmonts, she then retired from AK Steel. She was a member of the Isleta United Methodist Church, the Church Choir and Rachel Circle. Marla is survived by her husband Michael L. Prince whom she married February 21, 1998; daughter Amy (Tony) Dial of Lewis Center, OH; step children Randy (Sheryle) Prince of Zanesville, Andrew (Staci) Prince of Urbana and Kelly Prince of Newark; two grandchildren Brodie and Jack; five step grandchildren Tim, Melissa, Ryan, Conner and Lexie; two brothers Rodney (Linda) McCormick of West Lafayette and Denny (Cindy) McCormick of Coshocton; several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Saturday September 8, 2012 from 4:00 PM - 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Monday at the church. Funeral services will be held on Monday September 10, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Isleta United Methodist Church, 58608 CR 9, Newcomerstown with Pastor Dale Thomas officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery, West Lafayette.
