Martha V Sycks

Martha V. Sycks, 79, of Coshocton passed away at Coshocton Health and Rehabilitation Center on Monday January 9, 2012. Martha was born to the late James and Eloise (Lentz) Patterson in West Lafayette, Ohio on August 10, 1932. She was the past president of the Pink Ladies, attended The Presbyterian Church of Coshocton where she was active in the choir. Survived by her loving husband Richard A. "Dick" Sycks; two devoted sons Jeffrey Sycks of Coshocton and David (Linda) Sycks of Bluffton, OH; six grandchildren Jane, Emily, Megan, Joel, Kimberly and Lukas. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother James Patterson and her dearly loved sister Melba Dusenberry. Martha and Melba did many trips together including trips to the Caribbean. Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday January 12, 2012 from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Rev. Jonathan Carlisle and Rev. Robert Millspaugh officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the Alzheimer's Association, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
