Mary Louise Guthrie Bowers, 88, of Coshocton passed peacefully at her home on Thursday, October 3, 2024. She was born on September 10, 1936 in Warsaw to the late Lawrence and Evelyn (Saylor) Guthrie. She married her first husband, Clarence Longstreth who passed away in 1954. She married her second husband, Robert Bowers in 1956, who passed away in 1999. Mary enjoyed sewing and crafting and owned and operated a ceramics shop called Twin Oaks. She loved to spend time outside, gardening and mowing. Mary was a mother to many, taking in children who needed a home. She loved all the family gatherings and spending time with the children and grandchildren.

She is survived by her children, Linda (Gary Endsley) Keefer of Coshocton, Jerry (Terri) Longstreth of Millersburg, Tammy (Mike) Cheeseman of Warsaw, Jamie (Kevin) Ulrich of Kentucky and Deanna Bowers of Coshocton; 16 grandchildren; 32 great grandchildren and one on the way; one great great-grandchild.

Mary is preceded in death by her children, Robin Bowers and Mary "Mickey" Bowers; Siblings, Jerald Guthrie, Beverly Lillibridge and Robert Guthrie and two grandchildren.

Calling hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Tuesday, October 8, 2024 from 4pm to 6pm. A funeral service will begin at the funeral home at 6pm with Pastor Tim Dickerson officiating. A cremation will take place and the burial of her ashes will be at Coshocton County Memory Gardens.
