Mary E. McCloy, 71, passed away on Wednesday October 3, 2018. Mary was born in Cleveland, Ohio on March 8, 1947 to the late Henry A. and Dorothy (Hadala) Kroeplin. Mary was an LPN and had retired from Coshocton County Regional Medical Center after 29 years of service.
She is survived by her two sons Earl D. “PeeWee” (Debbie) McCloy of Schofield, WI and James W. “Jimbo” (Kelly) McCloy of Bradenton, FL; four daughters, Florence (Jeff) Drushal of Port St. Lucie, FL, Lena (Tim Mobley) McCloy of Coshocton, Audra (Brian Lapp) Hammond of Coshocton and Gloriann Hardman of Coshocton; eighteen grandchildren Erin (Jason) Phillips, Amanda and Brandon McCloy, Tania (Derek) Schonauer, Dawn (Colt Landis) McCloy, Jennifer, Jeremy, Justin Drushal, Breelle Spaulding, Richey Hammond, Serenity, Bryella, Royce and Kendrith “Oh Baby” Lapp, Douglas Hardman, Michael Bryant, James and Nathanial Harwell; sixteen great grandchildren; two brothers Thomas (Sherry) Kroeplin and Timothy (Cindy) Kroeplin both of WI; one sister Margaret (David) Arce; several nieces and nephews and her four-legged companion, Penny Sue.
Along with her father, she is preceded in death by her husband Earl D. “Bill” McCloy whom she married May 21, 1966, Bill passed away on August 22, 2017; four sisters Evelyn, Clara, Mary and Helen; three brothers John, Frank “Bud” and Norman “Jimmy”; one great granddaughter Jaden Ann Marie Hardman; and one son-in-law Russell Hammond.
Mary’s family is having an open house celebration of her life at their home located at 1703 Adams St., Coshocton from 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM on Sunday October 7, 2018, family and friends are welcome to attend.
Memorial contributions may be directed to the local animal shelter.
