Maxine Virginia Conkle

February 16, 1925 — October 2, 2018

Maxine V. (Lowe) Conkle, was born February 16, 1925 in Clark Township, Coshocton County.  She is the daughter of the late Sanford E. Lowe and Irene (Mullet) Lowe.

She graduated from Clark High School in 1943. She was a homemaker for all of her life.  On April 29, 1945 she married John C. Conkle. She was a member of the Shepler Church and served as communion stewardess for many years.  She was also a member of Auxiliary of Coshocton County Gideon’s, Farm Bureau, and Ladies Missionary.

Also surviving is her two children, son Randy K Conkle and daughterCarol L. Baird and Husband Brian; three grandchildren, Charity (Scott) Richert, Robert Baird, and Brian Baird II; two great grandchildren Hailey L Richert and Aaron J. Richert.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by three brothers, Russell W., Owen L., and Harley Lowe; and one sister, Garnet M. Beal.

Calling hours will be held at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street, Coshocton, Ohio 43812 on Thursday, October 4, 2018 from 5:00pm – 8:00pm and one hour prior to the funeral service at the church.  Funeral services will be held Friday at Shepler Church, 47507 Twp. Rd. 217, Millersburg, Ohio at 11:00am with Rev. Robert Angel and Pastor Sonny Easterday officiating.  Burial will follow at Shepler Cemetery.

Memorial contributions can be directed towards the Gideon’s of Coshocton or Shepler Church; envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
