Michael “Mike” D. Farver, age 72, passed away Wednesday, December 23, 2020 at Altercare. He was born on December 26, 1947 in Coshocton to the late Richard and Marjorie Farver. On December 16, 1972, he married Betty (Jones) Farver. Mike was a United State Army Veteran serving in the Vietnam War, 9th Infantry Division Combat Medic. He was a Purple Heart recipient for bravery and duty to service. He was very proud of his service. He was a retired fire fighter for Coshocton City, having worked for 25 years.
Surviving are his wife of 49 years and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews; two brothers-in-law and families.
He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Judy Thompson and Charlotte Love and a great grandmother and mother and father-in-law.
Calling Hours will be at The Miller Funeral Home on Monday, December 28, 2020 from 11am to 1pm. The funeral service will begin at 1pm at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Prairie Chapel Cemetery with the Coshocton Veterans Honor Guard performing Military Honors.
Memorial Contributions can be made to Wounded Warrior Project. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
