Michael Alan Porter

Michael Alan Porter, 70, of Coshocton passed away on Friday, February 3rd, 2023 at his home.

Mike was born in Coshocton on September 2, 1952, to the late Harry Caton and Helen JoAnne (Carpenter) Porter.

He honorably served in the United States Army where he was a MP.  Mike was also active in the Three Rivers Masonic Lodge #799 of the 19th District, Eastern Star #157, AMVETS, American Legion, VFW, and Eagles. He also was an avid Cleveland Browns backer, enjoyed golf, baseball, umpiring, and was a sports fan overall.

He is survived by his daughter Erin E. (Devin Donley) Porter of Conesville; grandchildren Mason Wesley Donley and Owen Hunter Donley; former spouse Cheryl L. Hill; two brothers Tom (Jane) Porter of Coshocton and Ron Porter of TX; best friend, Kristi Jo Madison; and several nieces and nephews.

Friends and family may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main Street. Coshocton on Wednesday February 15, 2023 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm and one hour prior to funeral services.  Funeral services for Mike will be held on Thursday at 11:00am, beginning with Masonic services.

Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery with Coshocton County Veterans Honor Guard performing military honors.
