M. Jean Miller, 89, of Lafayette Pointe Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, passed away on Saturday April 4, 2015 after a short illness.
She had formerly lived in Coshocton and Isleta.
Jean was born in Coshocton County on January 26, 1926 to the late Carl and Bessie (Hammersley) Treasure-Sherrard.
She graduated from West Lafayette High School, class of 1944 and worked for the F.B.I. in Washington D.C after graduation. She later retired from Jones-Zylon in West Lafayette. Jean was a member of the Isleta Church of Christ.
She is survived by her two children John W. (Patsy) Miller of Plainfield and Kim A. (Bill) Hutchinson of Coshocton; two grandchildren Justin (Carissa) Larr and Tyler Hutchinson; three step-grandchildren Angela (Dusty) Wright, Allen (Cindy) Braniger and Mandi (Ryan) Stickdorn; eight step-great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Walter H. Miller, who she married in June of 1947, Walter passed away on August 9, 1996; and a brother Robert C. Treasure.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St. on Thursday April 9, 2015 from 10:00 AM -11:00 AM where funeral services will begin at 11:00 AM with Pastor John Armstrong officiating. Interment will follow in Fairfield Cemetery.
