Nancy E. Westerfelt, 67, of Coshocton passed away at Heath Nursing Care Center, Heath, Ohio on Thursday December 11, 2014.
Nancy was born to the late Walter and Ruth (Powell) Shields in Parkersburg, West Virginia on September 16, 1947.
She graduated from River View High School, class of 1967, was a homemaker throughout most of her life and a member of Southgate Church of Christ.
Nancy is survived by her two children Deanna (Joe) Regruth of Cincinnati and Lisa Westerfelt Chavez of Newark; brothers and sisters Albey (Phillis) Shields of Kings Mountain, NC, Ed Shields of Newark, Judy Dayton of Southport, NC and Marie (Danny) Ray of Nashville, TN; grandchildren Jackie and Trey Regruth of Cincinnati, Jordan Westerfelt, Shawnna, Sean Lee Russell, and Aiden Westerfelt all of Newark; special daughter in law Melissa Barns of Newark; several nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her son William “Billy” Charles Westerfelt.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Sunday December 14, 2014 from 3:00 PM – 4:00 PM where a memorial service will begin at 4:00 PM with Pastor David Myers officiating.
Memorial contributions may be directed to Southgate Church of Christ, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
