Nettie Bassett, 91 of Coshocton passed away at her home with her family by her side on Sunday October 2, 2011. Nettie was born in Coshocton, Ohio to the late Wesley and Oneita (Case) Gray on January 2, 1920. She enjoyed spending time with her family, loved going on rides on our country roads, flowers, gardening and her special cat Sweet William. Nettie is survived by her children Wesley (Barbara) Bassett of Fresno, Timothy (Martha) Bassett of Coshocton, Nancy (Tom) Jacobs of St. Marys, GA, Barbara Howell of Hudson, FL and Sue Dovenbarger of Coshocton; grandchildren Eric Bassett, Jared (Lori) Bassett, Amy (William) Neal, Jeremy (Carley) Jacobs, Kim Deshong, Kelly Hilson, Rhonda Moss and Danielle Heart; great grandchildren Nick Bassett, Quinn Bassett, Silas Bassett, Garrett Bassett, Lilliana Bassett, Chelsea McFarland, Brittany McFarland, Mikey McGuire, Jessica McGuire, Kasie McPherson, J.J. Moss and Kendra Gephart; two great great grandchildren; two nieces; special care giver Rachael Selders. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband William L. Bassett who passed away in 1998; siblings Donald, James, Rodney Gray and Elnora Holmes; two grandsons David Middaugh and Donald (Julie) Middaugh-Henry and one great grandson Joshua McFarland. Friends may call at the Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Thursday October 6, 2011 from 11-1 PM where funeral services will begin at 1:00 PM with Pastor Mark Granger officiating. Interment will follow in South Lawn Cemetery, Coshocton. Memorial contributions may be directed to Health Services of Coshocton County "Hospice", envelopes will be available at the funeral home
