Norma Ruby, 89, of Coshocton passed away on October 30, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 12, 1935 to the late Francis (Bunk) and Elsie Fern (Tarman) Clark Sr. in Coshocton. Norma graduated from Coshocton High School in 1954 and retired from Pretty Products after 25 years. She was a member of the Eagles, Moose, Coshocton Campers Club and bowled on the Pretty Products bowling league. She was a valued volunteer at Coshocton Care Center. She enjoyed attending her grandchildren's sporting and music events. She was famous with family for her delicious deviled eggs.
Norma was survived by her children, Brenda Hall, Nancy (Mike) Zeigler, Corty (Holly) Guthrie all of Coshocton and Rocko Hall of Daytona Beach, Florida. Step children Helen Ott of Florence, Kentucky and Marilyn Eckelberry of Coshocton. Daughter-in-law, Mary Hall. Grand children Jeanette Hall, Summer Hall, Travis (Becky Gerome) Guthrie, Tye (Jasmine) Hall, Lindsey (Shane) Griffiths, Trista Fry, Logan Hall, Courtney (Kyle) Bergeron and Austin Guthrie. Many step grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Special friends Tom and Ellyn Meiser and Carolyn Moats.
Norma was proceeded in death by husbands Charles Guthrie and Harry Ruby; her son, Kevin Hall, step son Carlos Guthrie and step daughters Nettie Cottrill and Margaret (Maggie) Christner. She was the last of 6 children predeceased by brothers, Francis (JR) Clark, Robert (Bob) Clark and Harold (Whitey) Clark and sisters, Opal Fisher and Delores (Pinky) Cox.
The family would like to thank Riverside Hospital in Columbus and Truman Hospice House in New Philadelphia, OH for the awesome care provided.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, November 3, 2024 from 5pm to 7pm and an hour prior to the service. A funeral service will be on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11am with Pastor Lloyd Tenney officiating. Burial will follow at Plainfield Cemetery
