Patricia E Crown

Patricia Ellen Crown, 79, of Coshocton passed away on Friday evening, November 22, 2013.

She was born on February 7, 1934 to the late Ralph and Janie (Cox) Holdsworth in Adams Mills, Ohio and graduated from Jefferson High School in Dresden in 1951. She married Kenneth Crown of Coshocton in 1957 and enjoyed fifty-six years of marriage as lifelong residents of Coshocton. Pat worked as a secretary for the REA for ten years before trading her career for motherhood. She was an active member of the community. Pat served as PTO President of Keene Schools, President of River View Band Boosters, served on the OSU Extension Board and was a member of Merry Hustlers Home Economics Club. She was also a sixty two year member of the Presbyterian Church of Coshocton. She served as a deacon, longtime nursery and toddler teacher, and was elected a lifetime member of the Presbyterian Women for her service.

Pat was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is survived by her husband Kenneth R. “Kenny” Crown; son Max (Rhoda) Crown of Coshocton; daughter Ellen (Kevin) Lee of New Albany; grandchildren Courtney and Danielle Crown, Maria, James and Thomas Lee; sisters Peggy Mikesell of Warsaw; special niece Kitty (Dick) Hoffman of West Lafayette, OH; several nieces and nephews. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister and brother in law Jean and Dayne Newell.

Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Tuesday November 26, 2013 from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM and one hour prior to the service on Wednesday at the church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at the Presbyterian Church of Coshocton at 11:00 AM with Rev. Jonathan T. Carlisle and Rev. Robert Millspaugh officiating. Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be directed to the Presbyterian Church of Coshocton Women’s or Deacon’s fund, envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
