Life Legacy
Pauline Hall Thompkins, 95, of Winding Drive, Coshocton, and more recently Autumn Healthcare passed away on Saturday September 22, 2012. Pauline was born March 8, 1917 to Jesse and Sarah (Jones) Hall in Coshocton. A lifelong resident of Coshocton she was married for over 50 years to George L. Thompkins, who predeceased her. Active in her community, Pauline was a member of the First Baptist Church of Coshocton and had been employed by General Electric. She was also a member of the Pocahontas Lodge, the Order of Eastern Star, Royal Neighbors, Red Hat Society and will be sadly missed.
Pauline is survived by her sons James (Barbara) Thompkins of Warsaw and Stephen (Rande) Thompkins of Dallas Texas; daughter Marcia Shaw of Coshocton; nine grandchildren; nineteen great-grandchildren; four great-great grandchildren along with a wider group of devoted family and close friends. Along with her parents and husband she is preceded in death by one son, David Hall Thompkins of Zanesville and Coshocton for whom the Thompkins Centers in Cambridge and Coshocton was named, and one grandchild.
Friends may call at The Miller Funeral Home, 639 Main St., Coshocton on Wednesday September 26, 2012 from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM. Funeral services for Pauline will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11:00 AM with Pastor Larry Lain officiating. Interment will follow in Canal Lewisville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to the American Cancer Society, envelopes will be available at the funeral home. The family extends its appreciation to Dr. Gary Carver for his years of dedicated service, and to the personnel of Autumn Health Care of Coshocton for their loving care.
