Phillip Lee Emler

August 9, 1946 — April 5, 2018

Phillip L. Emler, 71, of Coshocton passed away Thursday, April 5, 2018 at Coshocton Springs Nursing and Rehabilitation.  He was born in Coshocton on August 9, 1946 to the late Jack and Pauline (Cochran) Emler.

He was a 1964 graduate of Three Rivers High School. On August 2, 1993 he married Vickie (Gross) Emler, who passed away in 2012.  He worked hard for his employer, McWane Ductile, formerly Clows, for 49 years before retiring in 2013.  He prided himself on finding good deals at garage sales and auctions.  He collected watches, clocks, and vacuum cleaners.  He enjoyed telling stories; his best audience was his granddaughter, Jacey Slone.  She will greatly miss him and his stories.  He used to chuckle and say “Jacey sure gets a kick out of my stories.” Along with Jacey, He will be greatly missed by his children, step-children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, brothers, sisters, and many more.
