Phyllis “Peggy” Bradshaw Greathouse, 87, of Newcomerstown passed away in her home on Tuesday August 10, 2021. She was born to the late Felix Cunningham and Ethel (Belt) Barker in Wirt County, West Virginia on January 29, 1934.
Peggy will be remembered for her good-natured ways and her love for her family. She has been a homemaker all of her life and enjoyed cooking, playing Scrabble, and visiting with family and friends. She was a member of Cornerstone North Church and served God faithfully.
She will be deeply missed by her children, Judith (John) Smith, Crystle (Bill) John, Sharon (Bill) Robinson all of Newcomerstown, Robert Bradshaw of Palm Bay, Florida, and Lisa (Jeremy) Gross of Vandalia, MI; daughter-in-law Sharon Bradshaw; 13 grandchildren;14 great grandchildren; 9 great great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husbands James (Sonny) Bradshaw and William Greathouse; one son James Douglas Bradshaw; siblings Alfred, Willard, and Jack Cunningham, Wayne Belt, Johnny F. Barker, Midge Cunningham Lewis, Eileen Addy Hall, June Belt Gardner, and Rosalie Barker Hardesty.
Calling hours will be held at the Cornerstone North Church, 1134 W. State Street, Newcomerstown on Saturday, August 14, 2021 from 11:00am-1:00pm with funeral services beginning at 1:00pm with Pastor Martin Addy officiating. Burial will follow at Coshocton County Memory Gardens. The Miller Funeral Home, Coshocton is handling arrangements for the family.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be directed towards the Miller Funeral Home.
